About Steady Mom Co

Built by women who
know this life
from both sides.

One clinician. One mom in the thick of it. Fourteen years of sitting across from women who were holding everyone else together while quietly losing themselves.

"The gap between clinical therapy and generic wellness advice is too wide. And too many women were falling through it." — Maryanne & Mallory

There is a gap.
We built something
to fill it.

Therapy is irreplaceable — but it's not accessible to everyone, and it's not available at 11pm when you finally sit down and still can't turn your brain off.

Generic wellness content means well. But it doesn't know you. It doesn't know that "just breathe" lands differently when you've been in survival mode since 6am.

Steady Mom Co lives in the space between those two things. Grounded in real clinical science. Written the way women actually talk to each other. This was built for your body first, because that's where change happens.

Not therapy. Not self-help. Something more specific than either.

Two perspectives.
One purpose.

Maryanne Walker

Maryanne is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 14 years of clinical experience working with women navigating stress, chronic overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation. She has spent thousands of hours sitting across from capable, loved, needed women who had quietly stopped feeling like themselves.

She is also a first responder spouse of over 30 years and a mother of two adult children — which means she understands this life from inside it, not just from a therapist's perspective.

Her clinical grounding in polyvagal theory, somatic work, and nervous system regulation shapes everything Steady Mom Co creates.

Mallory Magee

Mallory is a wife and mother currently living the season Steady Mom Co was built for. She brings a degree in Human Environmental Science and the kind of on-the-ground perspective that keeps Steady Mom Co honest — she's the reason the content sounds like a real person, not a clinical handout.

Her role is to ask the question every mom is actually thinking: "Does this work when your toddler is melting down and dinner isn't started?" If the answer is no, it doesn't ship.

Mallory's lived experience is the counterweight to Maryanne's clinical authority — and the reason the work reaches people where they are.

I.

Your body is not the problem.

The way you're responding makes sense given what you've been carrying. You're not broken. You're dysregulated. Those are very different things.

II.

Regulation starts in the body.

Not in your to-do list. Not in your mindset. The nervous system responds to physical input first — and that's where real change begins.

III.

You deserve something specific.

Not a generic tip. Not a one-size wellness approach. Something that actually sounds like you — and meets your body in the state it's in right now.

Your nervous system has a pattern.
Start there.
